KPN Ventures invests in AI-Powered Voice Communication Solution CloudTalk

💻We’ve kicked of the year with one of the largest VC rounds in the history of Slovakia’s startup ecosystem. CloudTalk, the fastest growing AI-powered calling solution and contact center software for modern businesses, successfully raised €26M in funding, closing its Series B round. We are delighted to have co-led the latest round together with Lead Ventures joining an outstanding investor base including Point Nine, henQ, Presto Ventures and ORBIT Capital. KPN Ventures led follow-on investment in supply chain visibility provider BOX ID

👀The Munich-based logistics software provider BOX ID has raised €3.5M to further scale its product offering for IoT-based supply chain visibility. The solution enables industrial and logistics companies to track their Reusable Transport Packages (e.g., containers, transport racks) throughout the supply chain. Wirepas raises $22M led by Highland Europe to build large-scale and low-cost IoT networks

🌍 Wirepas is building large-scale and low-cost wireless IoT connectivity that never fails, for enterprises across the globe. Tech pioneer Wirepas has raised $22M, led by Highland Europe, to bring the wireless connectivity revolution to even more enterprises worldwide. Amalfi and IQT also participated, as did previous investors KPN Ventures, ETF Partners, Vito Ventures and Vesa Laisi. Read more here.

Smedvig Capital joins Minut’s Series B round investing $5M to capitalize on strong growth

🤝 Following a successful year of rapid growth and exciting product enhancements, Minut seized the opportunity to extend the Series B round to $20M. Smedvig joins KPN Ventures, Almaz Capital, Zenith, Kompas, Karma, SOSV, Verve, and other existing investors. The additional funding allows the company to double down on product development and drive international expansion, increasing the team across Europe and the USA. Read more here.

🤖RangeForce is now available in the KPN Academy. Already 120+ employees are gratefully taking advantage of the offer while challenging their security skills. RangeForce offers a development platform which focuses on improving cyber skills for individuals and teams allowing companies to assess their security teams and consequently provide individual learning paths and team exercises to upskill highly needed cybersecurity talent.
